As the world's most important consumer electronics trade show, CES is always the publishing center of new products and new technologies in IT industry. It is the sixth time that aigo attends CES. aigo attracts the world's attention not only with the unique design and Chinese features, but also the advanced consumer electronics. aigo's new products exhibited on CES 2009 include MID (Mobile Internet Device), watermark digital camera, MP6, aigopen, power cabin, digital microscope. aigo shows the world the confidence and achievements of the Chinese enterprises.
1. MID (Mobile Internet Device)
Mobile Internet Device (MID) is Intel's moniker for a low-cost handheld device that has Internet access. The term was coined with Intel's introduction of its Atom chips in 2008, and MID devices are expected to be slimmer versions of the Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC). aigo cooperates with Intel to develop the first MID in 2008, enabling the end users to log on the Internet anytime anywhere.
MID is commonly called "pocket computer" because it is much smaller than other IT products with similar functions. It is possible to browse the net pages, send and receive e-mails, chat online, play computer games, enjoy films, translate documents, etc. just with one MID that is no heavier than a can of cola. The user can also get the real-time transportation information from the built-in GPS navigation system.
aigo MID drew great attention of the visitors to CES. "It is convenient, efficient, and of low cost. In the near future, it can take the place of PDA and laptop and be adopted to different fields of our life,"a visitor said after trying out MID.
2. Digital Camera
aigo also introduced the world's first watermark digital camera--WM01. It adopts the most advanced digital watermark technology to strengthen the digital camera technology. Through a specially made chip, the camera will process the photos with watermark technology. In this manner, a watermark will be contained in each photo for copyright protection. This special watermark technology has two features: invisible and safe. On the one hand, the watermark can only be recognized through testing software, so that the photos contain watermark look just like common photos. On the other hand, the watermark cannot be juggled or forged. If the original picture is cut, displaced or resized, the inside watermark will change at the same time.
3. MP6
aigo MP6 is a new generation multi-media player featured by the access to the Internet. aigo MP6 consists of a wireless aigopen (refer to the next term), a watermarked music magazine containing about 300 songs, and a music player. MP6 provides 3 ways to enjoy the music. First, when MP6 is connected to the Internet, the user only needs to point to the names of songs on the music magazine and aigo MP6 will play the music. Second, the 2000 songs of high quality included in aiMU Special Edition will be played just by pointing to the names of the songs by the wireless aigopen. The interactive aiMU music magazine will be published periodically for your enjoyment. Third, the cooperation websites will release the ranking lists of every kind of music. Just by pressing a few buttons, the user can enjoy the most popular music of more than 10 categories, including pop music, classic music, and even comic dialogue and operas.
4. aigopen
 
aigopen is a new generation IT-product equipped with aigo's digital watermark technology and recognition sensor. By taking advantage of these technologies, aigopen sets the hands and eyes free in reading, and also enable the users to listen to books and papers conveniently. aigopen can be efficiently used in many conditions where books are essential, such as education, tour guide, etc. At present, aigopen finds its stage in the fields of preschool education, fundamental education, tour guide system, braille reading, map, etc.
Based on aigopen's core principles, aigo developed a new aigopen product----"Happy Bear". It combines aigopen's feature of "pointing-reading" with children's affections on toys, so as to provide children a lovely and qualified tutor. Simply speaking, "Happy Bear" is an intelligent toy that can teach children the suitable knowledge. This application provides an educational function and entertainment as well. We select abundant learning resources for children aged from two to six, including basic knowledge of Chinese, idioms, poems, popular sciences, and fairy tales. All the learning materials are contained in cards. Just by putting the cards on or within 2mm's distance to the nose, "Happy Bear" will tell the children what they are supposed to know.
5. aigo Power Cabin
 
aigo Power Cabin series products are designed particularly to solve the problem of power supply to digital products. The small-size large-capacity power supplier can charge digital products of different brands, so that you will never feel upset because you digital products run out of power. aigo Power Cabin products can charge IT products by solar energy, cold-light source and alternating current.
On CES 2009, aigo exhibited two types of its Power Cabin products----I2900 and I2911. aigo Power Cabin products fascinate the American market. "To come up with the trend of environmental protection, aigo independently developed the portable solar energy charger. The large capacity up to 8000mAh enables the users to charge their notebook PC, mobile phones, MP3��digital camera, DVD, etc. The American market favors this convenient and environmental friendly product," said Ms. Zhang Yongjie, vice president of aigo.
